The double room was new-fashioned, it had a safe, central heating, and a TV. As for me, the location was marvellous and unbeatable, just next door to the center and harbor.

Thoroughly enjoyed how unique and stylish the property was. We stayed in a well-kept and lovely romantic room that had a safe, central heating, and a TV set with satellite channels. The service was amazing and the pool was lovely. We came here for 5 nights and had a REALLY NICE stay.

I had a really nice time here for a family vacation. the location was perfect for me since it was just a short walk to the restaurants, cafes, reception, and even the beaches. I enjoyed a quick lunch at the Eat place right next door. 🍽️.

The servers in the restaurants are very attentive and the musician, Demos, who performs twice per week, is amazing. There was little more lovely than sitting outdoors, enjoying an Ouzo, listening to fine music, and watching the lovely Aegean.
Long past is the time when Internet should be charged to guests. Hotels booking themselves as 5* should just include a wireless property in the cost. In the case of Doryssa, it is fairly reasonable (5 Euros per day), but in the room you have to use a cable, which in my case did not work. I had to go to the lobby to use wireless.

Everything exept that it is a little bit strange how the cost for food, drinks and soft drinks can be so much higher in price comperd to good resturants in the city.
It was a little bit unsure about beachtowels. One day it was changed at our room. The following days it was not changed. We did not know if there was any "code" of how we chould do to get new baechtowels changed at the room.

The rooms were very nice. The design of the hotel was very creative.breakfast was excellent and the staff very nice.
It was extremely loud due to planes flying in around 20m height above the beach. There is entertainment all day long, music everywhere you go, and live bands until late at night. It is not very relaxing.

Great location about 800m from the centre of Pythagoria, so we walked into town for dinner every night. Beach is pebbles, but sandy a few metres into the water. Pool is a good size and never crowded. We stayed in the hotel part, which looks a bit tired and dated on the outside, but the rooms are newly remodelled in a stark "ikea" style -- not exactly charming, but very clean and functional. Breakfast buffet was great -- lots of choice and a very nice outdoor patio with tables. However be careful where you sit if you are nonsmokers as they still allow smoking sections in restaurants in Europe. The staff were friendly and helpful.
We were supposed to be in the "Greek Village" part of the resort, but were moved to the hotel part because of a "technical problem". They were very good about it and gave us a free meal at the lunch/dinner buffet, but the village looked much nicer than the hotel (we didn't see inside the rooms). The lunch/dinner buffet was mediocre and very overpriced compared to the wonderful food in the town a short walk away. Snacks and drinks between meals were also very expensive. There are a few interesting archaeological sites near the resort, but you really can't walk to them. We arrived during a taxi strike, so were forced to rent a car just to get to the resort from the ferry port, which was quite expensive (40 euros/day). There is a bus service around the island, but it was difficult to find information about it. The local tourist information booths were almost useless (gave us a few pamphlets and spoke no English).

Conveniently located within walking distance to a beautiful monastery on a cliff, just a 10-15 minute stroll away. Plus, you can easily walk to nearby restaurants and bars from here.

Christmas decorations were nice and festive, really put us in the holiday spirit. Location was good, close to town and easy to get around. the staff was friendly and accommodating. the pool was warm and well-maintained.
The food was not great, let's just say we had better at other hotels. the room was quite small and cramped.
